A Gentle Welcome to 2026

There is something quietly hopeful about the beginning of a New Year.

Here in our little corner of the countryside, January ebbs in softly… resting gardens, with the occasional surprise these days — I picked the daffodils you see here on New Year’s Eve and they are blooming as I write this on the second day of January! Cool winter light. Seed catalogues on the table, and the comforting sense that the garden and countryside are preparing for what comes next.

As we step into 2026 I felt the need to pause with you here. Over the following months, not as a resolution (I prefer to continuously evolve throughout the year), but just because I find myself in this place, I’m choosing intention over expectation. I feel an urge to pay attention to the small rituals that shape everyday life.

Winter is a season for planning gently — sketching garden ideas and noting what worked last year. What could be introduced this year in order to add even more joy?! Winter invites us to alow ourselves to move slowly. Indoors, it’s the time for candles lit early, simple nourishing meals, and finding beauty in the quieter moments at home.

As the year unfolds, this space will continue to be a home for seasonal inspiration: garden notes, floral moments, cosy interiors, a wholesome lifestyle filled with intentional living. Everything shared here is shaped by real days and my love for living in rhythm with the seasons.

I do hope that this space offers a you little moments of calm and inspiration throughout the year!

Thank you for being here at the start of 2026. I’m so grateful to be sharing this year with you.

With love,

Tasha 🌷
