As I write this near the Spring equinox the days are stretching a little longer now, and there are so many changes In the garden and countryside that clearly confirm the shift into spring. Mornings often still feel crisp, but the birdsong is picking up in momentum, daffodils are in their full glory, blossom buds are swelling. Even the first of our tulips have opened (very early indeed). The garden has come back to life.
Here in our little corner of the English countryside, it no longer feels like we’re waiting. We’re moving forwards at quite a pace!
I find myself trying to embrace it all this year. It feels more precious and I feel more grateful. Simple days, fresh air, and lots of early spring flowers brought indoors. Many are not even curated this year – just thrown in so that I can enjoy them in the state Mother Nature intended them to be. Far more light flooding through the windows. A joyful seasonal reset. A firm and reassuring shift into something new.
In the garden, March brings a little more intention. I have sown my sweet pea, tomato and cosmos seeds. Plans are beginning to take shape for a GREENHOUSE 🙏🏼, and there’s a sense of anticipation in even the smallest tasks.
This month, I’m also sharing a couple of new additions with you:

I’ve recently worked with Bower Collective – a brand focused on refillable, sustainable home and personal care products, designed to reduce waste in a simple and thoughtful way. It feels very aligned with a slower, more conscious approach to everyday living. Last month I shared a brand with a similar approach, Miniml – I love the products from both brands for different reasons. They also sit at different price ranges on the market. Both are positive steps towards a more sustainable household. I absolutely adore the Bower bathroom range for the fact that the products smell absolutely delicious yet still work incredibly well. They are the first cleaning products that I have actually enjoyed leaving out on display too!! The whole experience from shopping to receiving the beautiful packaging to actually using these wonderful products was lovely. You can try them for yourself with 15% off by using the code: FLORALCOUNTRYLIFE15 on their website .
I’ve also had a lovely (and unexpected!) surprise – an invite to join LTK (LikeToKnowIt). Thank you so much to whoever sent it, as I wasn’t able to trace it back to an Instagram account and it’s a privilege to be invited to and accepted on the platform. I’ve now set up my page and will be sharing shoppable links to pieces I genuinely love and use. My style and approach won’t change – this simply makes it easier to share where things are from, as I’m often asked.
As always, I hope my floralcountrylife ‘space’ continues to offer you a little calm – a place for you to stop for a while and enjoy the quiet beauty of the seasons with me, as they transition and unfold.
With love,
Tasha 🌷
