As I write this in early June, the garden is brimming with life. The hedgerows are lush and green, roses are in full bloom, and the longest days of the year are suddenly right before us. There is a magical side to June that I always look forward to – warm mornings with tea or coffee in the garden, evenings that linger long after supper (even if it is raining you can open up your windows to that grounding pitter patter), and flowers blooming faster than we can keep up with!
Here in our little corner of the English countryside everything feels wonderfully abundant! The borders are filling out, sweet peas (the few that survived the unexpected hot spell at the end of May) are beginning to climb, and every town and country walk seems accompanied by birdsong. The gentle hum of bees moving between cottage garden blooms.
This month I am forcing myself to slow down and appreciate these moments more than ever. The simple rituals that make up daily life feel particularly special at this time of year: gathering flowers from the garden, opening the windows wide to let in the fresh air (I know I always say this but it is so true), and creating a home that feels connected to the season outside.
June always feels like an invitation to enjoy the beauty of everyday living. It is time to truly embrace this where possible.
In the garden, there is plenty to keep me occupied. Seedlings are finding their places in the borders, pots are overflowing with new growth, and every day brings something new and often unexpected into bloom. It is one of my favourite times of year, when those long Winter months of planning and planting finally reveal themselves in colour and fragrance. There are also one or two gaps that warrant a trip to a local garden centre to find a handful of quality perennials that are in bloom right now and the exact colour that is needed. Instant gratification and very special when I usually invest by sowing and growing, or purchasing plug / smaller plants!!
This month, I wanted to share a couple of lovely brands that have recently found a place within our home.
I’m an ambassador for Miller Harris, a British fragrance house inspired by nature, botanicals and the beauty of scent. One aspect I particularly appreciate is their commitment to responsible sourcing and their use of natural raw materials alongside carefully selected synthetic ingredients where appropriate, helping to reduce pressure on vulnerable natural resources. Their fragrances are inspired by the natural world, which feels wonderfully aligned with the floral and countryside lifestyle I love sharing here and over on Instagram. Scent has such a remarkable ability to capture a moment, much like a photograph or a freshly gathered bouquet from the garden.
If you’d like to explore their collection, you can use my code MHC4LJ2DX9 for 20% off your order.

I’ve also been trying a new product from Miniml, whose thoughtful approach to household products has featured here before. This month I’ve been using one of their scent boosters, which adds a beautiful freshness to laundry while maintaining the brand’s focus on reducing waste and encouraging refillable, lower-impact choices. It’s a simple addition to everyday routines but one that makes freshly washed linens and clothing feel even more special.
For anyone looking to make small, positive changes within their home, Miniml continues to offer products that fit beautifully into a more conscious lifestyle. You can use my code TASHA for 10% off if you’d like to try them for yourself.

As always, I only share brands that feel genuinely connected to the values and lifestyle I enjoy documenting here: an appreciation for nature, seasonal living, beautiful surroundings, and finding joy in the quieter moments of everyday life.
Thank you for continuing to follow along with my country edit. Whether you’ve been here for years (when my account used to be slightly more family focused), or have only recently discovered this little corner of the internet, I’m so grateful you’re here!
I hope this space continues to offer a little inspiration and calm as we move through the seasons together.
With love,
Tasha 🌷
